Enhanced performance
VDF DUS turning machines allow turning lengths of 1,000to 20,000 mm at swings from 420 to 1,500 mm and workpiece weights up to 16 tons. Drives with 11 to 65 kW outputs and automatically switchable, 2-speed transmissions ensure maximum cutting performance.
Maximum flexibility
VDF DUS turning machines are suitable for almost every requirement in the manual machining, cycle-controlled and CNC-controlled production of single parts and small series. Various versions and a variety of options ensure individual machining solutions for every requirement.
Ideal overall efficiency
An automatically switching turret and a second chip protection door enable full CNC operation, and thereby the extension of cost-effective use also for medium-sized series as an alternative to a CNC lathe. The options for driven tools, C- and Y-axis enable complete machining of workpieces.
State-of-the-art controls
VDF DUS turning machines are controlled either by Siemens Sinumerik 840D sl Shop Turn or Heidenhain Manualplus 620. The operating software is specially matched to the cycle-controlled turning machines.
