Modul hobbing machines in the H 600 – H 800 and H 900 – H 2300 series ensure maximum yield rates in the high performance range from single part and small series production to mass production. These powerful hobbing machines can be used to produce high-quality external gears for workpieces up to 2,400 mm in diameter and gear module 28.0 by means of one or multi-cut machining in conventional or climb milling. The hobbing machines can be used for axial, radial-axial, tangential and diagonal hobbing and for form milling using the single graduation method.

Enhanced performance

Modul hobbing machines in the H 600 – H 2300 series enable dry and/or wet machining using tools made of high speed steel, carbide or other modern materials and soft machining or finished milling of hardened gears (skiving). The PowerCutting versions in the H 600 – H 800 series are especially suitable for the hobbing and form milling of rotors.

Maximum flexibility

Modul H 600 – H 2300 hobbing machines are suitable for axial, radial-axial, tangential and diagonal hobbing and for form milling using the single graduation method. The modular concept for machines in the H 900 – H 2300 series also enables machining of wheels or shafts. Special milling heads can also be used to machine external and internal gears.

Supreme overall efficiency

Modul hobbing machines in the H 600 – H 2300 series allow the integration of different additional functions, such as chamfering, deburring or centering. Control via the Siemens 840D sl system and the MODUL dialog program support cost-effective operation by means of particularly user-friendly menu navigation.

Ideal automation

Modul hobbing machines in the H 600 – H 800 series allow manual feeding, automation via ring loaders or feeding via a robot.

Modul H 600 – H 2300 hobbing machines permit cost-effective production of straight and helical gears (crowned and conical) as well as shafts with multiple gears, worm gears, internal gears and special profiles like rotors and sprockets.
