Preventive avoidance of machine failures

    FINGERPRINT

Machine condition analysis with manufacturer know-how

“Condition-based maintenance" replaces the reactive or preventive maintenance that has been customary up to now and offers great potential for cost savings, since the service life of critical machine elements can be fully utilized and, at the same time, necessary maintenance measures can be scheduled in coordination with the production plan. The prerequisite for this is the regular recording of the machine condition through measurement and subsequent analysis of physical variables from the fields of vibration theory, mechanics and electronics.

    Benefits

    Benefit from our fingerprint service

FFG has the solution for you - machine condition analysis using the fingerprint method:

    • plannable machine downtimes
    • reduced maintenance costs
    • higher machine availability
    • plannable procurement of spare parts
    • long-term production quality

    Core elements

Three measuring methods - one precise maintenance recommendation

With the FFG fingerprint, we record the current condition of the main axes and spindles for you with software support. The measurement results are compared with collected, historical reference measurement data of the machine and known error patterns. Based on the analysis results, we create a diagnosis for you, which provides information about the remaining service life of the machine components.

    Analysis

Your advantage: Parts are replaced at the technically and economically optimum time. Not too late, but also not too early. The applied measuring methods also enable us to observe and examine machining processes. If quality losses occur, the cause must be determined as quickly as possible. We examine the process during machining. In this way, the occurring forces and their directions can be visualized and the causative factors can be discussed.
